A Fraser Institute study says 1.4 million Canadians are waiting so long for treatment that it cost them $4.2?billion in lost income and productivity last year. With waits stretching nearly 29 weeks, patients like Alberta’s Rayanne Boychuk say they’re stuck in medical limbo as their conditions worsen. Quinn Ohler has the details.
